CaesarStone "Million Dollar" San Francisco Showroom Opens Its Doors to Dwell Magazine's Salon
Van Nuys, CA (Dec., 07, 2007) – CaesarStone, the original quartz manufacturer, had the honor of hosting a Dwell Magazine Salon at their San Francisco showroom Wednesday night. The attendees were all invite-only, selected by the president and publisher of the magazine, Michela O'Connor Abrams. The evening was the perfect event to show off the showroom, which was completed last fall. The guests included local architects, designers and some of Dwell’s staff, including Abrams
“I wanted to take this time to hear about the heritage of the company,” said Abrams. “In seven years this company has built itself into a household name in surfaces.”
Dan Brunn, the architect of CaesarStone’s San Francisco location, was the moderator for the evening. Brunn spent the evening describing the work that last week won him a Merit Award for project showroom at Interior Design Magazine’s Best of Year 2007 award. The architect shared his expertise with guests, giving them various ideas for upcoming projects.
Brunn, a practicing architect, received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California and his Masters of Architecture from Harvard. He is also one of the youngest architecture instructors teaching at USC.
