CaesarStone Announces New Celebrity Spokesperson: Kirsten Kemp, Host of Hit TLC Series "Property Ladder"

SUN VALLEY, Calif. (April X, 2007) – CaesarStone Quartz Surfaces announces it’s signed Kirsten Kemp, host of TLC’s series “Property Ladder,” as its new spokesperson for 2007/2008. Kemp will appear in CaesarStone’s booth at the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show & Conference (K/BIS) in Las Vegas, May 8-10, to sign autographs, pose for photos and share her insights on all facets of construction and design, especially the kitchen and bath.

In addition to appearing at this year’s K/BIS, Kemp will be seen in multiple CaesarStone print ads for major magazines and trade publications. She will also star in two informational videos that will be incorporated into CaesarStone’s website.

"It’s wonderful to work with a company whose product I’ve already been using and recommending for years,” said Kemp. “CaesarStone’s ideal mix of beauty and practicality has added the final touch to many of the kitchens and bathrooms I’ve remodeled."

As host of TLC’s hit series “Property Ladder,” Kemp, a veteran realtor and real estate developer with years of experience in flipping properties, provides professional insight on the flipping process and valuable guidance for viewers looking to tackle their own home-improvement projects. Kemp has also just released her much anticipated book, “Flipping Confidential: The Secrets of Renovating Property for Profit in any Market” (John Wiley & Sons, 2007).

Also a designer and interior decorator, Kemp specializes in kitchens and baths - the two rooms that don’t just “sell a house” but, when designed properly, can make it a joy to inhabit. She is known for incorporating unique design elements, big and small, that enhance both the beauty and functionality of a space. With her gift for meticulous space-planning and keen eye for timeless yet personalized style, Kemp knows how to infuse these key rooms with a perfect mix of impeccable form and flawless function.

"Having an individual with Kirsten’s broad array of experience represent CaesarStone will be a huge asset,” said Arik Tendler, president of CaesarStone. “Her mix of design savvy and engaging personality will help us expand brand recognition, while reinforcing CaesarStone’s leading presence in the industry."

In addition to her design talents, Kemp has substantial acting and performing credits, having begun at the age of 4 to sing, dance, and play flute and guitar with her parents as they performed American musical comedy and operetta throughout Mexico and Central and South America. Upon moving to Los Angeles at age 13, the bilingual performer launched a TV career with recurring roles on numerous hit show such as “Head of the Class,” “Saved by the Bell” and “Mad About You.”
