February 2026 was a significant month for Caesarstone ICON, as our advanced fusion surfaces were internationally recognized for their innovation and product design on the industry’s most prestigious stages.

Products that effectively blend sustainability and design are highly coveted by the interior design industry. Therefore, when a new product category manages to fuse together these elements in inspiring fashion, designers and trendsetters take notice. This is exactly what happened when Caesarstone launched Caesarstone ICON—advanced fusion surfaces that are crystalline silica-free* and made with ~85% recycled materials, including high-quality post-industrial recycled glass.

From Florida to Germany: Caesarstone ICON wins awards

The Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) is North America’s premier trade show, both in terms of size and prestige. Taking place on February 17-19 in Orlando, this year’s KBIS showcased a wide range of industry brands. On the first day of the show, KBIS hosted Innovation Hour, a dynamic competition session that gave eight exhibitors an opportunity to talk about their most innovative products and highlight aspects such as materials, design elements and other features that are poised to transform our kitchens and baths.

Mor Krisher, Caesarstone’s Product Design Director, engaged the audience with his perspective on Caesarstone ICON, recounting its journey from ambitious idea to R&D and finally, to trailblazing product. Thanks to live audience voting, Caesarstone ICON took home the KBIS Innovation Hour’s 2026 Most Innovative Award, in what was yet another milestone for these groundbreaking advanced fusion surfaces.

“People connected with Caesarstone ICON because it is sustainable, but also because of its story”, says Krisher. “I spoke about how we turned this product from concept to reality, focusing on the design and R&D aspects. I think the pioneering narrative resonated with a lot of listeners.”

Florida wasn’t the only location where our advanced fusion surfaces shined. On February 9th, a week before KBIS, Caesarstone ICON was officially honored at the German Design Awards held in Frankfurt, winning an award in the “Excellent Product Design Material and Surfaces” category.
