Caesarstone Helps Make a Difference at The Home Depot Foundation Community Event in Phoenix
2 min read
At Caesarstone, we’re focused on innovating surfaces designed to last a lifetime and building partnerships in the industry and with customers that result in the creation of beautiful spaces. When an opportunity arises to put those values to work in a meaningful way, we show up. This year, we were proud to participate in The Home Depot Foundation’s annual community event in Phoenix, Arizona, and what we witnessed there was nothing short of inspiring.
On the ground in Phoenix, more than 700 volunteers completed hands-on projects for local veterans. The helping hands on site tackled renovations, creation of outdoor community spaces, landscaping improvements, and development of recreation areas at the Arizona State Veterans Home and the U.S.VETS Phoenix facility. Every effort was purposed in making real improvements to real places where veterans live and recover, built by people who gave their time and showed up ready to work.
The hundreds of volunteers came from a broad range of companies and industries, all united by a shared commitment to strengthening communities and investing in people who need it most. Beyond the hands-on projects, the event raised an incredible $13.8 million, with all funds designated to support veterans, disaster relief efforts, and skilled trades training programs across the United States. That last piece resonates with us deeply. The skilled trades workforce is the backbone of everything we do, and initiatives that develop the next generation of craftspeople are something Caesarstone actively supports and participates in regularly.
Caesarstone US was represented at the event by Kobi Brenner, President, and Joanne Wells, DVP of Home Centers. Having senior leadership participating in hands-on renovation projects exemplifies what this event—and what Caesarstone—is all about; it takes all of us to get the work done and make a difference for in our communities.
We are grateful to The Home Depot Foundation for organizing an event that puts action behind intention and creating an opportunity for companies, volunteers, and communities to come together around something bigger than any single business. It was a meaningful day, and one that reinforced why the partnerships we invest in — with our customers, our trade partners, and our communities — matter so much to us.
We’re already looking forward to next year.
