Caesarstone is all about innovation and design, which is why were elated to join in on a brand new event that honors the best in the business. Our partners and top style authorities Variety & WWD threw the first annual StyleMakers event on November 19, 2015 – and boy was it a hit!

Honorees included fashion designer Zac Posen, costume designer Lyn Paolo, stylist Elizabeth Stewart, hair stylist Jen Atkin, make-up artist Lisa Eldridge, photographer Matthew Rolston and style icon Frieda Pinto. These honorees were introduced by the celebrities who depend on their talents to keep them looking fantastic in front of the cameras – and this year’s presenters included Katie Holmes, Kerry Washington, Viola Davis, Kourtney Kardashian, Kelsey Grammer, and more.

The star-studded list of talented attendees were served drinks and snacks from Caesarstone tables and bars. In addition, red carpet walkers signed Caesarstone samples, which will collectively be made into a mosaic and auctioned to benefit a local food bank, LA Kitchen, right in time for the holidays. This mosaic will be designed by the gifted interior designer and television personality Martyn Lawrence Bullard.

After the red carpet and Caesarstone signing, the gala began. Guests dined on such delectable dishes as ruby red grapefruit salad and olive oil-poached chicken breasts whilst speeches and discussions from some of the most passionate talents in the industry occurred on stage.

“Our show [Scandal] isn’t about fashion for fashion’s sake,” said Paolo of the series’ oft-coveted costumes, namely those of Washington’s protagonist Olivia Pope. “It’s a show about real people.”

“I’m humbled and honored to be part of this fantastic array of talents,’ said Posen. “It’s remarkable that two epic and innovative publications such as WWD and Variety have come together to celebrate the transformative power of fashiontainment.”

Stay tuned for more information on the autographed Caesarstone mosaic and how you can bid to benefit the LA Kitchen this holiday season.
