To support the architecture and design community in Palm Springs, we are partnering with the museum on numerous programs including lecture series, home tours and salons, and exhibitions, culminating in a series of events during Modernism Week, an internationally renowned annual celebration in Palm Springs of midcentury modern design and contemporary thinking.

Exhibition at the Museum's Architecture and Design Center
This Palm Springs Art Museum exhibit uses 3-D models, drawings, design objects and photography to explore mid-century modern masters Albert Frey and Lina Bo Bardi's architectural vision for a more integrated social and environmental design.

Fall in Love with Frey Cocktail Reception
A reception, tour of the famed Frey house, and the opportunity to view the Living Architecture exhibition.

Architecture and Design Council Salon Series
Tour the mid-century marvel home of Bill Bean and Gregory Wagoner and hear from the visionary, Lance O’Donnell, AIA award-winning architect.
Visit one of the updated units in the 1965 William Cody-designed condominium complex, new to the Palm Springs Tennis Club. Designer Kem Theilig walks through the renovation and design process, including the Caesarstone countertops featured in the kitchen.
Tour the iconic 1946 Raymond Loewy House, designed by Albert Frey and learn more about Loewy, Frey and the home's history from guest speaker Jacques Caussin.

The Architecture and Design Council hosts lecture series focused on modern and contemporary issues in architecture and design.
Architecture and Design Council’s Modernism Week Party
Tour the stunning Koerner House, designed by E. Stewart Williams, and try your hand at sleuthing a la James Bond style to uncover the secrets of this architectural treasure.
The Palm Springs Art Museum Architecture and Design Center is housed in a 1961 International Style bank building designed by E. Stewart Williams. After an extensive adaptive re-use renovation by renowned Los Angeles architecture firm Marmol Radziner, the Architecture and Design Center, Edwards Harris Pavilion opened in 2014 as an exhibition and collection storage space for the museum.
Caesarstone is honored to work closely with the museum and the local design community to celebrate one of the most beloved architectural styles to date.
