When CaesarStone became the first company to use quartz in 1987 we also became one of the first companies to make a commitment to protect the environment.

You see, CaesarStone is owned and run by Kibbutz Sdot Yam in Israel. It's where the first production site was established and remains to this day - and the Kibbutz is also where the people who make CaesarStone quartz surfaces live with their families.

We recycle 97% of the water that we use and collect harmful dust before it goes into the environment. We take great care to minimize the impact of our production processes because we want the air that our families breathe and the environment that they live and work in to be healthy and safe. We strive to keep Kibbutz Sdot Yam beautiful.

Today, when "eco-friendly" practices are becoming in vogue in the corporate world, we are proud to say that this has been our policy for the past 20 years.
